Is the car getting ready to crush the plant, lifting its tire like a person lifting their foot to crush a bug, signifying the power of technology over the fragility of nature, in that our actions through science and industry humans determine the fate of the planet?
Or is the plant growing in adversity, showing its strength by pushing the massive tire out of the way, and displaying the concept that, years from now, when technology finally fails, nature will endure and thrive in the absence of humanity?

Anyway, as this was bump for one of the later episodes (don't remember which one exactly), this is in all likelihood an HD screencap.
I see it as the car making room for the plant. (the tire is up all the way into the wheel arch, but the plant isn't compressed) One of the many images that makes this show (all of arawi's art really) steal my heart.
