  • ジンベエザメ

    時の流れに置いてかれないようにジンベエザメが迎えに来たよ

    Whale Shark

The whale shark comes to greet you, as if it's come loose from the flow of time.

Fortunately whale sharks don't eat little boys.

It makes brilliant sense if you ask me. What it looks like is showing the young boy is surrounded by amazing, mystical things, yet he cannot bring himself to pay attention to what is going on and instead the TV is what draws him in. It resembles how many young kids are no longer going out and exploring the amazing parts on nature, and instead are lazing around the TV.

That reminds me a picture I saw several years ago.
The picture show a huge library, containing thousands of books about philosophy, religion, physics, litterature, everything you could dream about.
And there's only one person in the picture, the janitor. And what is he doing? Watching Dallas on TV.

Same thing could be said about the internet, with the power of Google and Wikipedia we can all be smarter than Da Vinci by simply spending 20 minutes a day reading, but the internet today just ended up 'breeding' a generation of more juvenile, ignorant simpletons.

I found Danbooru quite intelligent just random and wacky but still can teach you whether it be by the picture itself or the comments from the picture. More like a tame and controlled Freakazoid.
