With the Morde lore rewrite, he doesn't really have much of "mysterious armor man who's also a heavy metal fan" feel. He's become more of "a psychotic murderer who happened to like heavy metal."
Although Pentakill band thing is apparently canon, I don't think it's necessarily well fitting since the Pentakill skin has been around before the lore rewrite. It feels like a character inconsistency.
