judging by panel 3, I'm guessing food is involved in this?

and on panel 4, i'm assuming it involves driving lol.

Running a little slow today, as I've got a slight fever. I'm taking it easy resting, but I can't sit around too long doing NOTHING, so...

We talked about all sorts of things with the people who were drinking at Yasubei. The "-ze yo" of Tosa-ben is famous, but they don't use it much. They do use the "-cha" and "-nyaa" endings a lot.

On a totally unrelated note, there's a Cessna plane enshrined in the parking lot of this "Kaida-ya" for some reason. :-)

40 minutes doesn't feel like that much of a distance in the big city, but in Kōchi, it's a fair distance.

    Reader-added tags include

"An abundance of dialects, aren't there, Kogasa-san", "Yuyuko-sama has the vigor to eat up all of Kōchi", and "The destructive power of panel 3".

The poll, of course, talks more about food:

Which of Kōchi's famous dishes do you prefer?
    • Minced bonito
    • Saké
    • Pomelo
    • Bell pepper
    • Old-fashioned ice cream

Yes, a cat, starting with a purr and ending in a wheedling meow.

The sound you get from an exceited cat thinking it is going to be fed. Or expecting you to feed it.

Tosa-ben? I was wondering what regional accent made Mr. Taupe sound like Joe Pesci.

I actually have no idea what the equivalent American accent would be, if any, so I just chose one that seemed to slur/alter words in a similar fashion.

Just reread everything with Joe Pesci's voice. Had an interesting result.

That face in panel 3... how can anyone say no to that face? It's just a forty-minute drive, Kogasa-san! You have to take Yuyuko-sama there; just look at how happy she'll be.

For the poll, Old fashioned ice cream wins me over every time.

Well, Kogasa-san isn't hungry anymore, so she isn't suffering from anything that would make her suddenly gain the telepathy needed to compensate.
Either that or Sanae decided to stop the miracle that let it happen in the first place.
