Incidentally, has it ever been stated whether Yohane prefers to be referred to by male or female pronouns? Just kind of curious as to whether Yohane really wants people to think of him/her as a girl (or thinks of him/herself as a girl).
I'm also kind of curious as to how Yohane's would-be girlfriend Monaka reacts to the attention...

You usually refer to people by their name in Japanese, so I don't think the issue of gender pronouns comes up often.
We haven't seen anyone call him by a gender-specific honorific either. His family and Miki just call him Yohane.
But I don't think he would mind being referred to with male pronouns. He doesn't hide his gender and is showing someone that he's male in post #1238027.
That's true, but the school uniform we've seen here has just been the sweater, tie and plaid skirt combo. We've yet to see Yohane in the classic sailor top, skirt and bare midriff.
