    I like the idea of a borderline asocial former Hakurei Maiden who is bad at changing expression.
    That could be considered as another approach of the "hakurei maiden needs to be neutral" thingy, since Reimu treats everyone equally, that would make sense that she adopted that approach after watching her mother doing the same.
