The Kanji here are troublesome, I can only find three: 首(Neck) 出(come out; go out; protrude) 上(above; up) The rest don't seem to exist, at the very least they don't have any radicals to search with. They must be really obscure Kanji, or I'm just missing something...

Actually, they're all fairly common kanji. The problem is that you seem to be searching with a radical lookup service (such as this ).
Searching by radicals isn't a very reliable way of finding unfamiliar kanji, in my experience. I would recommend using a handwriting recognition tool to draw the kanji (such as the one built in to Microsoft's Japanese IME). You will need some practice to learn the stroke order, though.
