There really aren't many images that show the fact that the Satori's third eye is literally their heart. On that note, Koishi must have the most inefficient circulatory system ever conceived.

Actually it's looking more like it's how third eye's veins/arteries connect to their hearts.

Recalling my basic biology, Koishi's circulatory system would be similar to most fish's, which is basically a simple loop connected to a two-chambered heart. Although that system really doesn't work well things with lungs.

This also apparently implies that Koishi is less evolved than Satori :P

(Also, Satori's apparently implies a SIX chambered heart, which I don't think exists anywhere in nature.)

Judging by post #1418554, Koishi used to have 6 blood vessels connected to her eye as well. Not really the case anymore.
Weaponizing your severed arteries is cool too, I guess...

I'm tempted to call this an error, as it seems for biological consistency there should be one in each arm, one in each leg, one to the Thyroid Gland and one to the head. The one to the head would be the main one, which Koishi cut off in one series...

Also, how would Lymph fall into this?

You put it on from one side directly as if it were going to wrap around her, and then you fasten it closed. There are a lot of buttons or other fasteners involved on the other side.

Probably hidden under seems. Probably a bit of a hassle to dress in the morning but they outfits would look to the observer normal just having odd heart shaped buttons

i noticed something. if you look at koishi, the only useful veins/arteries/whatever-the-hell left are connected to her feet. this could mean that koishi can only control her legs now, causing her to wander, but that would also mean that the third eye works as a secondary (or primary) brain to the species. i am not good at explaining biology

The eye could have second mind if it is sentient, and I believe some creatures have detachable organs so taking it off would be possible (she would need a secondary heart though.)her veins would likely be ultra durable to make up for their exposure, which is why we see them used as ropes. Considering how satori repeatedly says (in some translations that she reads hearts, it could be they are unaware of the true nature of their power, and the sentience of their eye. Can't rule out the eye is actually a symbiotic creature though. (This statement is about satori's biology not koishi's.)
