Fucking yes. Even if you stab a human, it can keep fighting for hours. Breaking his bones will only slow it down. A human mouth has thirty teeth, and powerful jaw muscles, not to mention housing thousands differents germs. Don't bite him, you'll only give him ideas. Even if you gouge a human's eyes, he can still hear you panting and breathing as you're crawling away. They expose themselves to deadly solar radiation in order the impress the females. Killing the head of a group will merely set them back. To destroy a group, you need to exterminate them all. Humans are unstable, and are all uniques. Some may feel remorse and try to heal wounded prisoners, while others may attempt to torture and rape their prisoners. Even if they are fellow humans. Always expect the worse, and don't be captured.
Removing a limb doesn't guarantee a kill, there was instances of a lone human surviving severe wounds. To distract themselves, humans are playing war simulators, and watching war movies. They absorb a popular poison called alcohol quite often, from a yearly basis to a daily basis. Some specimens are dependent from that poison. Said poison can make the subject extremely aggressive and territorial. Left alone to their own devices, they WILL evolve extremely quickly. Breaking their legs doesn't mean they'll die starving : lone specimens have been proven able to build an evil device called a splint. That cruel device is locked on the broken limb, and allow the human to keep on walking.
Most "sports" are insanely violent. Injuries are common, and are even respected. Even dying, with his heart no longer beating, a human can be healed back to life by fellow humans. Beheading him is the only safe way to kill him. The human herds are constantly changing. A weak specimen can become an alpha male fairly quickly. An alpha male can also become a persona non grata. Reasons for these are unknown. Humans call them "politic". Humans are unstable. Sometimes, a fight between two males will be stopped before it even started, and sometimes, it will be encouraged. A theory says it depends from the subjects' age.
Human younglings have a fascination for violence. Watching classified movies is considered as a challenge to overcome, while minimal age restriction are considered as suggestion rather than warning. Human's psyche is disturbing : sometimes, murder can be rewarded, and sometimes it will be frowned upon. Reasons are unclear. When a human hideout (called "town") is destroyed, the human just rebuild everything at the same place. It is theorized that for humans, a disaster is merely "Mother Nature picking a fight that bitch's going to lose".
They put their lives in danger just for bragging rights. Humans are extremely fascinated by blood and murder. There's been proof that some of them were preparing for a war against a non-existing enemy, called "zombie". Humans are sociable creatures. Two humans left together, even when not speaking the same language, are able to cooperate. Humans can't see in the dark. That doesn't stop them : they're able to build mechanical eyes to see in the darkness. Humans are able to correct deficient vision with a strange device called "glasses". Those device are considered expendable and cheap. They can tame ferals creatures and turn them into specialized pets. Said pets can be used for war, hunt, murder or cuddle. They can reverse-engineer almost everything. Don't let them get near any high-tech gadget. They are incredibly stubborn, and once decided on something, won't stop, no matter the cost (please refer to the memento "Icarus - why humans can't fly" for further informations).
Given enough time, a human mind can recover from almost anything. A human mind is incredibly tough. Trying to crush it may backfire, and the human will then enter in a trance called "vendetta". Humans are extremely attached to their family. Attacking the family may trigger the human "vendetta". A human in a "vendetta" trance is almost unstoppable. He will attempt to attack his target, his target's family, belongings, even his target's species. A vendetta must be avoided at all cost, as it can only end with the human dead. There was speculation that killing his target will end the vendetta, but there are cases of a vendetta being redirected toward an entire subspecies at the target's death. During a vendetta, humans can't be bargained with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead (please refer to the "Gary Plauche" and "Anthony Omari" articles for further informations).
So yeah, humans are terrifying. Be terrified. We're coming for you.
Correction about that : the God came from Heaven to tell us that we've been hardcore, and that we should relax and stop trying so hard to please Him. We tortured him, nailed him to a piece of wood and let him die because we disagreed with his opinion about how we should workship him. And after all that, His believers are now using a torture device as a symbol of their religion.
And I get tired real quick of the hippies speech about humans being assholes, or the defeatist speech about human getting curbstomped by anyone and their moms. We're as scary to everyone else as they're scary to us.

Yeah, I hated Avatar.
Well, we very well might be assholes, but we aren't weak assholes.

Well, be fair. The humans were outnumbered by massive amounts by the Na'vi, and the Na'vi had assistance from "traitor" humans, and the humans still almost won. The humans did have a substantial technological advantage, but the environment of Pandora negated a fair bit of that.
As for the humans being assholes, if you look past the obvious bias of the narrator, the Na'vi were by far more xenophobic than the humans. They just happened to be the assholes that had the legitimate right to the stuff the humans wanted, and the humans at least made some attempts to ask nicely - it's just that the "ask nicely" crowd lost the political debate within the human side.

The more I read that, the angrier I am. Avatar 2 when the treehuggers get their face stomped in the dirt and the traitors are skinned alive when?

This single comment has more quotable quotes than entire comedy shows and I love it
