The real gag here is that Alien was a major influence in the development of Metroid, and that clear parallels can be found between the 2-D games and the various films.

I have to say this doesn't strike meas a very unlikely crossover given her job and how famous Aliens are but, eh whatever.

This is the only picture that has a cross with Metroid and Alien in all Danbooru. Just because they're similar in a way, doesn't prevent them from being an Unlikely Crossover.
