Actually more like a house spirit. Relatively harmless is your house is clean and in order. If not, then they whistle, break dishes, and make noises at night. I think she is similar to a poltergeist, but I think this version might be different since most of the monster girls have attachments to males.

i have never heard that name by monsters before but it reminds me on the manga Monster colletion where kasche arbadel summons a monster with the name kikomola but it has fur and not feathers like kikimora. but let´s see what the translation will say!

Hoh, Slavic folklore? Rather unexpected, especially considering that those spirits are usually depicted as old and ugly.

You mean the boggart? I thought those were the malevolent house spirits, as opposed to the silkies and brownies? Maybe the author used "the Changeling: the Dreaming" variation as a base, since the basic description kinda fits...

Edit: After doing a little bit of research, the Kikimora seems less malevolent and more "punish you for not taking care of your house" kind of house spirit. So, yeah, they'll be a nuisance until you sweep the place clean.

well, given that both kikimola and kikimora would be pronounced the same in Japanese, they probably are the same creature. that IS fur she has, not feathers. you can tell because it lists this species as a member of the "wolf" family.
