Family restaurants always seemed like strange working system of economic strategy to me. On one hand, a wide variety in the menu can cause many customers to be stuck between multiple choices, and inevitably regret their final decision, wither or not it truly was good. This can prevent frequent customers. On the other hand, the wide variety of food is a big attraction, since you know that as long as you are hungry, the family restaurant will have something that will satisfy.
