Given Namco's perfect capability to design original Aragamis, I don't even know why they insist putting ones that looked like Monster Hunter ripoff on all the game covers.

Actually, i don't see How you see Vajra and Hannibal as a rip off on Teostra and Tigrex. As for Marduk/Garm. I don't see them as Jinouga rip off, Just because they both based on a wolf

It's not just the similarities that they are based from the same animals, Teostra and Vajra both have proportionately shorter legs than real life lions, in ratios that wildly resemble each other. Not to mention that the Vajra's large cape does really gives the image of wings, which again holds an uncanny resemblance in proportional size in comparison to Teostra's.
Same goes with how Jinouga/Marduk have bulkier body than real wolves, most noticeably the very large forelegs. Again, the proportions of their bodies are very similar.
Apply same logic with Tigrex and Hannibal, even though I'll admit Tigrex have noticeably larger head and tail while also having webbed wings which Hannibal lacked, but other than that they're still comparable in proportions.
Note that I am only comparing similarities in appearances, I know that within gameplay all of them fight very differently. I like both games and have no intention to imply that Namco copied Monster Hunter or anything because as I say, other Aragamis in game have unique designs enough, it's only the flagship monsters that looked like Monster Hunter ripoffs.
