Come to think of it, I don't see a lot of blondes either in the U.S. anymore. I do see a lot of pink, crimson, blue, white and jet black though.
I see a lot of blondes though... probably because I live south of the Mason Dixon line...
for those who are wondering, the South (aka the Southeastern region of the US) is still mostly of European descent/white, which means that recessive traits like blond hair and blue eyes are more frequently seen.
It's more common to see blondes coming from Europe than from USA. All USA brings here (and I won't tell where is "here") are "blondes" with brunette roots.
USA's south in particular is filled with Latin Americans, so it's not a surprise either.
