I have to disagree, it does look a lot like Dominic and Anemone, mainly based on their hair and their physical build. Dominic was not "well-built", he is kind of skinny, and anemone has a slender build with a small waistline. also, dominic's hair sticks out in the back, and the color is the same, and for anemone, the color is the same, though a bit redder than in the series, it has to be her, the only thing that is missing that gold band. This has GOT to Dominic and Anemone. unless someone can come up with a closer match, or the original artist comes up saying something different, there is no other alternative, it has to be them.

The guy does look like Dominic, but the girl doesn't really look that much like Anemone. The bangs are wrong and she seems to have her hair half-up in the back. I doubt an artist would change her appearance so much for a fanart. What's the point of fanart if no one recognizes the character? I say these are just lookalikes.

That may be true, and that just proves my point that this is eureka 7. maybe not exactly them, but they are based off of them.
Just because they're lookalikes doesn't mean it's based of Eureka. How do we know this picture didn't exist before the series? There are lookalikes for characters popping up all the time, doesn't mean it was intentional.
Of course. The fact that this is obviously CG from an (unidentified) H-game also means they couldn't be Anemone and Dominic unless it's a doujin game which is REALLY unlikely.
