If you see the first panel of that page as leading to the "Death to Senpai" pool, then it establishes that no, Kazuko is not very good at giving love advice.

You might be right. So the order could be "Romance Master" (Kazuko tells Matsuura to confess), then "Death to Senpai" (Katori gets beat up by Matsuura), then this comic (Kazuko finds Katori all beat up).

Shoot it all makes sense now. Some delicious continuity going on here (or should I say fabulous).
It's established that Katori is both a master of the after-image AND stands motionless to take hits from Matsuura. On the end of Death to sempai he asks if Matsuura fell for him and what he gave as the reason for being all beat up now was "I made someone's girl to fall for me again". Kazuko jumps to the conclusion that it was the guy who beat him, but he didn't actually say that.
