Seiyuu connection probably won't work on seiyuu-deficit titles like Kantai Connection
It's been applied a few times for seiyuu connections within Kantai Collection. Should be fine as long as they aren't characters that are frequently connected for other reasons like being from the same class (Kongou sisters, Akatsuki sisters).
