Road signs are from here: https://goo.gl/maps/yoA4g - (photo) The point-of-interest sign for "the first potash plant" points to former production facilities of the Palestine Potash Company on the north side of the Dead Sea, just to the left (east) of this location. The facilities were destroyed by Jordanians in 1948. (informational marker) The sign is not present in Mar 2012 street view, but it may have been erected later (art is dated 2014).
