Akagi redeeming herself is actually pretty refreshing, considering most other strips have her childishly and uncontrollably gluttonous and nothing else. Plus, she seems pretty mature about the whole thing here which is even more at odds with her normal image.

only the Reppu and the Saiun are the valuable ones there, but then having a Ryuusei and a Suisei also help.

A Ryuusei is still the second best torpedo bomber (and torpedo bombers are useful, so it's not that bad. Suiseis seem really common to me though.

4 months ago as a non-player I didn't really get the part about the planes. Now at HQ level 88, I'm jealous of being able to get four relatively rare planes in a row.
