I don't know much about dogs, but is it true that male dogs will start humping things when they take a liking to it?
I mean, a few years ago I went to take a stroll in the park and met a dog and its owner. The dog wagged its tail and pounced in front of me. I initially thought it was attacking me but no! The next thing I know is that it was half-hugging my leg and started thrusting its hips onto my leg...

Dogs hump as a sign of dominance, not as a sign of liking someone, so no it's not that it likes you, it probably thought it owns you.
