---Artist's Title and Comment--- Title: unicode-here (which is "Near death experience") Comment: unicode-here (which is "I won't die!")
The artist's comment might be intended as a line from the drama, "101st Marriage Proposal". The lead male steps out in front of a dump truck in his desperation to show he would die for the woman he want's to marry. (She's been hung up on the death of her previous fiance.) The truck stops short of hitting him, so close that he could have kissed it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENXXgdbPcfY and just because.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfVCsj495CU The artist's comment suggests that he might be drawing from that scene, and possibly parodying it.
It seemed worth mentioning in case anyone else thought the same thing.
