I don't understand the game system, but do they have weapons that's permanently fixed ?
As in… can she still participate in firing when all 4 slots are emptied ?

Equipment just provides bonuses to stats. Guns give shooting damage while the recon planes give accuracy bonuses. She'll still attack like normal even without guns or torpedoes equipped.

Well, it's not. It's just that in the game, even without equipment the girls can still attack, it's kinda like a default gun so that's why I said she still had guns on.
