Seems like my firefox can't run it, as chrome had no problem
Edit: or rather it can't view it in danbooru environment, since I can right-click view image to make it work.

My Firefox just left it idle the first time I opened it, but once I posted this comment and got brought back it works. Silly.

Make sure you're using a recent version of Firefox, like Firefox 30.

That's usually a sign that you're seeing a reduced version of the image; try clicking the Resize to window button.

I get a picture of some sort for a single frame, then it turns into a hash. My browser can definitely play webms, by the way.

EDIT: Right clicking the hash and clicking "view image" works.
