During early October, I went on a trip to Mongolia with some friends. One of the nomadic families we visited was in the process of castrating a horse. We were fed its testicles (grilled). Apparently, in more rural/traditional parts of Mongolia, they would just eat them raw. According to the tour guide, horse testicles are great for the kidneys.

Occasionally, I would still see that horse in my dreams. Poor guy probably wants his balls back.

Testicles? Well, why not, there's no point in wasting a chunk of meat, just cause it belonged to the reproductive system of an animal... I'd at least give it a try.
