B-but how??? How did the rag doll switch bodies with Daisy?
It's the end of the story anyway, so I won't use spoiler mark. But here a theory of mine. Since Daisy, at the start of the story, WISHED to be left alone (and she already is, since nobody really care about her). But the Evil doll kept pushing her to be more OPEN, contradicting her wish. So they switch bodies in order to keep her wish true. Notice the eyes color, Daisy's blue while the doll's purple, and the fact is the doll gone back to being ragged with cotton leaking out, supporting the fact that they did not actually switch bodies, but the doll TURNED into her instead. Twilight Zone ending! Too bad there's nobody to point out what lesson we should learn from this story.

I first thought the doll turned into Daisy instead, since she was supposed to be patched up by Daisy but now she's ragged again. But now that you mention it, I think it slowly took control of Daisy's body, notice the sinister look Daisy's gave and the fact that the doll's more slowly speech(like it waiting for the chance to just "took over") in post #1761197.
