Pachirisu was the undisputed, come from nowhere, MVP for the winning team on the 2014 Pokemon Double Battle World Championships (WC). Pachirisu put out a jaw-dropping performance as a support pokemon, and catapulted itself into the public Pokemon playing eye.

But why Pachirisu? Couldn't pretty much any Pokémon that can use Follow Me have done as good a job if not better?

But it's the fact that it was Pachirisu, a freaking pikachu reject. Imagine if someone brought a team where a Caterpie or Metapod was able to turn the tides of battle.
