This was really hard for some reason. The guy's writing style seems to be kind of obtuse anyway, but this one in particular, I dunno.
Women's Battle, Men's Battle
Even so, there was some hesitation at the thought of attacking men who had only recently been neighbors. Since the magic of women was both more powerful and more subtle than the men's weaponry, the first focus of the war was isolating and removing men from all urban areas. (Boys were also removed, but girls were sheltered and hidden, lest they be passed over to the men's side.)
On the men's side, there was no equivalent action. That women possessed powers that far exceeded any man was not recognized as fact. Justice, the law, and God were all on their side.
The nation was embodied within each man. With overwhelming righteousness as their greatest weapon, they saw no way forward but to uphold their noble standard until the bitter end.
