Maybe too small, I can't read it at all.

I could identify "Le", "plus" and parts of some words that seem very french. Not nearly enough to have the slightest idea what this is about, though.

Bismarck's bubble in the first panel says 'Le francais' I think. It's definitely 'Le'. Which is not really German.
I'd say the lack of proper noun capitalisation also outs it as non-German, but you can't expect someone who doesn't know German to get that right.

More like italic taken to the extreme.
It's almost totally unreadable for me as well.

Only the Umlaut or trema (¨) symbol as far as I know.

But yeah, doesn't look like a trema symbol for the sentence at the middle.
Guess it's really French then, unless it's another language using accent as well.

I'm French too, but I can read more or less some words. Bismarck says probably "Le français est la deuxième langue [écrite] après l'anglais" without accents. Not sure about the word "écrite" but that's the most logical choice I guess...

Well, we can only guess. But unless it's French using machine translation, some word doesn't match exactly.
For the second bubble, I can't read the beginning but the end looks like it's "faut/fut sacré"

Maybe they're NATO Shipgirls ?
