Yup, though I even went through chain 1girl -solo and didn't see it.

I think it's the pun that's making the orc cry more than anything. Orc is オーク and auction is オークション. So this is basically an "orction."

Honestly, I think it's only sensible. When a person views not-so-human creatures as humans/humanoid, the feeling that they and us are of the same kind is rising. That makes us sympathy with them humanoids. After a bunch of images featuring mermaids (or fish personificated as humanoids) being eaten, I cannot look at the fresh fish in the same perspective as before.
