Or better yet, Planetarian doesn't even call itself a Visual Novel because it has ZERO choices or ways to interact with the plot other than advancing it linearly.

... Though I have seen some art pieces in a museum that were basically just crinkled paper, before.

The gaming equivalent of those, however, are more like Soda Drinker Pro where it's more meant to be a parody of other art.

It's a subtype of a Visual Novel called a Kinetic Novel.
