Oh, reorganizing fleets? I guess that's a good way to showcase more ships, and the former 3rdTorpRon already had lots of screentime anyway.
Okay... two CLTs and three CVs would have a ridiculous amount of preemptive attack power... but why are there a grand total of seven ships on this fleet?
So, two CLTs, two CVs, one FBB and one DD. Lots of preemptive attack potential, but crap when the shelling phase begins. Also doesn't make good use of the ships' speeds. And why one DD, seriously?
Shitty TTK strikes again.
Flagship contest time. Why do I get the feeling that Fubuki is going to end up taking that position?
Also, bathtime (figures, with so many glass cannons). Had the feeling that some numbers somewhere are plummeting faster than a stock market crash.
Surprise attack, Fubuki rises to the challenge of commanding, gets promoted to flagship. Ooo, didn't see that coming.
Okay, I'm nitpicking, and really, gameplay mechanics don't necessarily fit into the story (still an odd fleet composition though). I actually like this episode. ZuiKaga, ZuiKaga...
Also looking forward to 6thDesDiv on the next episode.

Got the feeling that this is the main reason for the new fleet composition: post #1663059 Kongou being Kongou, the other two pairs are like the most problematic in the fleet that we saw so far.
Kaga-san turning invisible at the beginning of the battle (around 20:29) and the whole room, saved for Kaga and Turkey, being empty, only for everyone to suddenly appear after the commercial break?
