I thought that was a given with the lack of screen time for every other character. It's no doubt a fan fiction based solely on Fubuki.
Hell, we don't even have a lot of those. Most kancolle doujins are dominated by Inazuma.
Really? Most of the doujins I read on e-hentai are focused on the top heroines, such as tenryuu or kaga. Loli is in there, certainly, but in equal amounts.
You know, despite the absurdity of choosing Fubuki as a MC, I think it was a good decision overall. If Inazuma, Shimakaze, Kongou, etc were chosen as an MC, I think the story would be a bit too slanted in it's presentation. That being said, I was a Fubuki fan from the start of KC so...

She already is the main characer of her own manga and Kadokawa even before the anime kept shoving her down our throats reminding us she is the "Main character" of the franchise overall, so it's not really a suprise, but more of a pain really.

I have yet to play the game. Is she really considered the main character there as well? I thought there were five girls/ships you could choose between as your starter ship.

The base's Teitoku told her this is what he saw in his dream, thus the reason he recruited her.
He didn't necessarily say she wore a wedding dress. That could be her own imagination or we, the viewers, might be shown more of the Admiral's dream than he told Fubuki about.

Fubuki is pretty much the mascot of the game. Well, Shimakaze is the unofficial mascot/newbie bait but yeah.
You can't go anywhere without see Fubuki at least somewhere.
I remember reading that the director or someone else in the staff IS a fan of her.
Many of Japanese admirals/fans are suspecting that the anime's admiral is Tanaka Kensuke himself, instead of the admirals themselves just as what Tanaka told. Since not just he is a BIG fan of Fubuki (along with Yahagi & Akizuki), but also the background of this scene is Minato(Tokyo), where he is living right now. Because of this 'Gary Stu(male ver. of Mary Sue)', along with the sole reason to brought her and gave her 'special' attention was due to her appearance in his 'dream', admirals/fans/(even)official manga artists' current reaction is...extreme negative. You may notice how their feeling about this matter through this video: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm25767876 (P.S. I noticed that some of negative comments that were written on the video are gone somehow)

How fucking stupid. What does it matter if Tanaka himself is the insert Admiral or not. As long as the Anime is fun and sticks to the point, showing cute warship girls doing cute things and killing Abyss, is all that really matter. What the fuck were people expecting when they were going to get a Kancolle anime? There's no actual plot, main character or anything like that. Of course there's going to be somesort of bias along the show. Hell, I'm glad it's just Fubuki and not another fucking Kongou based story cause that shit is just getting stupid.
At worst the people can just view the whole thing as a fanfiction or something. The whole thing itself is pretty much just that. People gotta lighten up. Reason like this is why Zun would never agree to an actual anime release of Touhou.

I totally agree. If we get down to it Kancolle don't have a "canon" and is almost 90% fanworks. No matter how much the producers insist on it. It will not affect any existing artists' interpretations and certainly the fans love for their characters.
If you don't like how the anime turned out, go ahead and ignore it like how some Pokemon fans are to their anime adoptions and go read some better doujinshi available. No one will fault you for it, so complaining non-stop is stupid and just serves to piss off the others that enjoy it for what it is.
I like anime-Fubuki, but this dream sequence was completely unnecessary and patronising.
I feel sorry for the Fubuki-admirals who have to deal with being associated with this half-arsed caricature of an admiral. Then again, outsiders may turn around and joke that Kancolle fans are all like this.
I will admit, Fubuki is dressed in a very pretty dress there. And she's not as... small in Kuso Teitoku's dream as she is in reality.
The wedding lines were a little much, though. Unless his plan was to take her from the other admiral, level her up to 99, then marry her.
I originally thought the reason why he took Fubuki was because nobody will let him have Akizuki and he needed AA, considering the lack of AA in his fleet.

various players don't consider the anime admiral to be good (Kisagari would not have sunk on their watch)
