What in the fuck is that supposed to mean?! That kinda word does not exist in Russian!!
Hmmm... I don't know a single word about Russian but from the japanese character, looks like a combination of Howzzat (Doya) and Thank you in Russian (Spasibo), I guess?

If you don't mind be nitpicking, that term is seldom used (google yields only about 1200 results), despite being mentioned in Wikipedia. I think it's because it literally translates as "wallet word", losing the original "folding into two equal sections" subtext - perhaps someone in the past confused portmanteau with "портмоне", from portemonnaie, which is a wallet. For portmanteau, a better translation would be "слово-гибрид" or "словослияние" :3
That said, I'm glad Japan shows more and more interest in Russian language and culture. There's a lot more to explore :3

Ah, thanks for the heads-up. I thought «словослияние» refers to actual suitcases (the portmanteau suitcase), and I wasn't aware of «слово-гибрид».

I'm always happy to help someone learn something new, so be my guest :3 Actual portmanteau suitcase would be simply "чемодан", there's no specific word for two-fold ones. "Словослияние" is literally "word merge", merged into one word. Also, you've probably heard of it already, but take a look at multitran.ru - it's two-way ru/en dictionary which attempts to list all possible translations for word/phrase, divided by category. Getting used to the interface might take some time since it's all in russian, but it's an immense help when translating something :3
