It would be even more ridiculous if the IJN Kirishima was actually capable of doing the whole tucking away the rangefinders.

It's kinda funny to me that of all people Tenryuu doesn't have a specific name for "head-dealies."

EDIT: It seems in the last few strips with Kongo, hers are either retracted or detached as well.
