Sometimes I love the Japanese language, but it's times like this that I hate the Japanese language. A lot of the time, important words are dropped out of the sentence because the speaker assumes you know wtf they're referring to, or else they would like to be ambiguous because you can do this in Japanese and still be doing it properly. Worse, even periods are considered optional, so where one sentence ends and another begins can be difficult to see. Unfortunately, this means if you gave a direct word-to-word translation, the sentence sometimes would look like "As-is men crowd will gather completely must do!"
You begin to see why Google Translate outputs look like they do. Who is "do"ing, and what? Is Cirno being forced to "do", or is Dai declaring that something unspecified must now become her mission?
This is why Japanese translators sometimes have discussions about and disagreements over what's actually being said. Occam's razor is usually in effect, but the problem is, sometimes that gets broken on purpose. Ay.
Cirno-chan's appeal is getting bigger and bigger!BOWWWWWWWWWWMWhat should I do!?This is bad!At this rate, crowds of guys will gather and gather, until they have her completely surrounded! I have to do something!
