Plus Forehead Jesus their lord and Savior has finally 'resurrected', so there's that.
Overall, I enjoyed this series, 'though they were parts that made me uncomfortable like the mindscrewy first two episodes and the excessively gratuitous fanservice scenes. Yes, it's Ikuhara, but the symbolism in this series is about as subtle as a bear crashing a hummer through a department store.
But still, I repeat, I like this show. The main reason is probably because I sympathize a lot with the main characters, as I was myself excluded for most of my life due to being born with a development disability. (Yes, I know, it is supposed to be about homosexual discrimination, but it applies to anybody 'born different' and unwilling or unable to 'act normal'. And lampshading how most 'abnormals' get portrayed as 'funny' or 'cutesy' in media.) The show really touched me, in a certain way. And fuck society, really. Also, kids are mean. Angels, my foot.
