Musashi currenly are living next door to Wo, and Wo don't know Musashi is shipgirl because her skin is diffrent to other girls.

There's a whole line of shells. Wo-chan seems to enjoy crafting for friends.

Headcanon: shinkaisei-kan vocalization here is like Flora colossi (e.g. Groot) from the Marvel universe. The sounds that their vocal apparatus is normally capable of producing sound like a specific call to human ears, in Wo-class's case "Wokyu". Their speech is actually more complex, but the information content is in harmonics not normally audible to humans. Think of the "Wokyu" as the carrier wave.

Musashi was able to understand because of living next door for so long and becoming used to the subtle differences, and possibly with specialized equipment.

(Incidentally, in this headcanon, for Wokyu to make her voicebox make the sound 'Haruna' would've been very difficult. I'd like to think that was what was happening there.)

Heh. Certainly fits the Groot analogy at least (IIRC, in the comics Groot was a genius physicist of some sort).

Speaking of Hoppo, maybe mo's Hoppo has the same sort of speech impediment, only in her case it's 'go home'.

For a second, thanks to the placement of the sound effect, I thought Kitakami was doing something really unfortunate to that destroyer, until I got to the next panel and found out what the noise really was.

... And it really wasn't that implausible, because, well, Kitakami.
