Yuasan has apparently just removed his twitter. My japanese is not good enough to figure out exactly what's going on. It's possible he has stopped updating pixiv too :(

All I know is there was mention in comments to his latest uploaded picture that there'd been some kind of harassment going on. My japanese isn't too good so I relied a lot on google translate when reading.

What the fuck? Again? How the fuck does Yuasan get harassed to quit yet Masara is still doing fine, fucking us over with his work?

    Bunch of bullshit.

Not necessarily this artist, but we lose quite a few of them to dickbags harassing and threatening them.

Dammit, why such things happened to them? They just want to share their creativity and love for x things.

As for the twitter account, doesn't looks like it's from the artist himself but more like someone who loves his drawing and waiting for his return.

Can't be a 100% sure but that's what I think after using a machine translation for this post:

    Just like mo_(kireinamo)

A gang of internet hooligans who name themselves "Koshinkyo Followers" somehow made this artist their victim, and dug out all his personal information.

It seems that the key problem is, that this artist once bought himself a personal site domain. Those "Koshinkyo Followers" found out this domain, and used the whois information to track down his real name and mail address.

So after that, this artist had to clear up his twitter to prevent further leakage of his personal information, or maybe he was just threatened to do so with his personal information held in "Koshinkyo Followers"'s hands.
    _____________________________________
The "Koshinkyo Followers" were named after a notorious lawyer's "Koshin" law firm, and "kyo" means cult or order. The lawyer's most notorious act, was to put some the otakus into jail for humiliating him, after he illegally dug out their personal information.

So many otakus who also enjoy digging other's personal information, call this lawyer their "MASTER", and head of the "Koshin" cult. So they name themselves the followers of that cult.

    Thanks bigbigfool for the explanation.

I went to see mo's last work and read what happened.

But that's weird, doesn't seems like yuasan did something bad like what happened during the One Hour Draw contest, did he?

On 2014/10/12, at the 10th Kouroumu event (a touhou-only event), he was caught trying to sell some of his kancolle artwork.

So they have put him on a "wanted list" site long ago. It seemed it did cost the "Koshinkyo Followers" some effort to fullfill their "justice" on him.

Wow....that's fucking retarded. It's nice to see that the touhou fandom can still be consider one of the worse.

Well, okay maybe that's a bit too far. But what the fuck is wrong with people?

After some further investigation into the Koshinkyo Follower's discussion, maybe things are much more than what I've dug out before.

According to them, Yuasan has been notorious for not only one type of wrongs:

    (1) He showed off the cash inherited from his uncles or some other relatives on twitter, with very little respect to the dead.

    (2) He sold Kancolle artwork at a Touhou-only event, and showed off such wrong deeds with photos on twitter. Facing others' blame for that, he just called them "Touhou cops" with scorn, and a strange pride of victory.

    (3) He called himself a "teitoku" but turned out to be a fake-fan, who didn't even know who Kisaragi was, and called her an "original character" when every one was watching those episodes of the Kancolle TV anmie.

    (4) He has made himself quite a name as a copycat who always stole other's ideas and netas ever since the Touhou time. Just like his deeds above, far from feeling ashamed for that, he somehow got quite proud of showing off those ideas and netas he had stolen, and even used them in his profitable works.

In a word, according to several Koshinkyo Followers: You would never imagine that he could be such a shameless bastard from his works.

And obviously, the (4) is the main reason why the Koshikyo Followers has long been trying to hunt him down.

The more I investigated into, the more I feel that those Koshinkyo Followers are more like those civilian-super-heroes in "Kick-ass".

And their name "Koshin" means "persistence, insistence, patience" in Japanese and Chinese, that suits them really well from their performance in Yuasan's case: they could wait patiently for more than a year until their prey finally gets struck by their "justice".

There is a fine line between: 'justice' and 'extreme vigilantism'. I can say these people are NONE of the former and border on obsessive madness of their own ideals. Regardless, I really doubt they truly exist and it seems more like it would be a random mob of harrassments than an 'organised' bunch of hooligans.

But they did show a certain degree of teamwork and cooperation, for example, they have opened a page for collecting various scratches of personal information and clues of Uasan.

Oh shit! Does that mean I'm a fake fan too? I never even known half the DDs since I don't pay attention to the ones that I don't like.
If you give me a picture of the Kagerou classes I probably won't even know them.

I didn't think being a Teitoku was such serious business that I have to even remember Shibafu's Fubuki 1, Fubuki 2, Fubuki with long hair and Fubuki with slightly shorter hair.

    Oh man...now I'm scared.

Well.. It still didn't justify their magnitude of actions.. Although reason 1 and 4 is quite good enough to wanting to give someone a knuckle sandwich, it's not good enough to make it into a 'hunt' of this scale.. Just finish that personally, talk it off face to face.. Too many facade floating around in the net..(and so do i wear one too..)

Some people take it to an extreme, some take it casually.. Focusing on solely something you like isn't wrong, just another personal perspective.. It's like being in advertising world, you're good at arts, focus and you'll be a good art director.. You're good at writing, focus and you'll be a good copy writer..

They both stay at their own respective corridor, and will be someone good in their own path.. Perhaps, you'll someday make something great with the DDs you like..

I don't think you should be worry about it. He pretended to have played the game and know everyone in the game, while you openly admit you don't. So you are still safe IMO.

Thats still terrifying. I play League of Legends but I can't name, let alone identify, every character/champion in the game. If people started tracking me down like that because I failed to properly identify a character, I would go underground as well.

Then in that case, most of the Touhou fandom is also in trouble. Many of them hardly ever played a real touhou game, let alone ever even brought one or got into it through the game.

I'll admit, I've only played about maybe....3 or 6, three of them being the fighting spinoff and the rest being only PC, Imperishable and EoSD.

2 of the spinoff I've beaten by being a cheap bastard and just Patchouling the damn game(IaMP and Scarlet)

One I never could get past because of fucking player 2 Miko

One of the actual where I've beaten on easy(IN) via bad end....IT COUNTS!!

One of which I got far at normal, up to Youmu

And one where I just fucking gave up from the start because Marisa is hard to use and Reimu is too cheap, and GOD DAMN RUMIAAAAAA!!!

My god...what the fuck. Have my life all been a lie?!

I do not play Kancolle myself since I thought it was too much trouble to actually get into the game. I instead followed the Kancolle stuff, especially the stuff in the Wiki.

If this is true, that makes me quite sad, as I enjoyed a lot of his art. Still doesn't excuse the vigilantism, but yeah... art/idea thievery is not cool.
