I think the real Tewi has too much pride to grovel like that, even as an act. Never mind that she might just be one of those youkai that hardly anyone would want to mess with seriously.

Really? I thought Tewi was one of Gensokyo's top con-artists. She values her life more then her pride.

Also, that photo falling out wasn't a miracle or coincidence. That was Yukari.

Tewi is leader of all the Earth rabbits and is actually the owner of the territory that Eientei lies on. Eirin once mentions to Reisen that it is not that Eirin and Kaguya tolerate Tewi's antics, but that Tewi tolerates their presence on her land. Plus, if she really is the White Rabbit of Inaba from the famous story than she is actually older than Gensokyo itself.

That said, it's extremely unlikely that Tewi is all that strong personally despite her potential age; rather she has more influence than she is given credit for. I seriously doubt she'd dare to make an enemy of Yukari.
