"Naturally, the Curse of Hourai has no effect there."
....naturally, yeah. As a layman interested in astronomy I sort of understannd pair productions and calabi-yaus but not when they are put in that kind of a sentence.
If this means that the curse of hourai stops working since they "leave" the entire universe, for a comic that tries to be so (pseudo)-clever about its concepts it's silly to say you can "leave" the universe. Or that there's an edge of space. Yes, I'm giving this too much thought. I bet you've done so too at some point.
This kind of makes me think of "the outside" as explained in the book xenocide where it is a realm completely lawless and one could conjure up things that where previously impossible with the help of Aiúas.

Well, by definition of what a universe is, you can't leave it. Iunno about anything else. Why isn't there an "Edge of space"? The universe is rapidly expanding, but theoretically, if you could somehow travel a billion times the speed of light or something, just where would you end up?
If you did end up somewhere, you'd still be in the universe... Then again, an impossible question because we'd probably never travel the speed of light, much less a billion times it.

Just think of it as Eirin having one too many rocks hit her head. You are correct though.
In a world of fairies, magic and pokemons I don't thing the usual laws of science and logic applies.
Not very fair to rag me on this with mumbje jumble comments, since this comic has been the author constantly injecting real science in pseudo-real ways all over the place, so I started thinking in that way too.
Of course you are correct usually, and I don't usually comment like this either.

My apologies if I offended you. I didn't mean any malice when I wrote the whole mumble jumble part.

S'ok. Maybe shouldn't have read it that way. Internet is hard :|
Naturally, the Curse of Hourai has no effect there. Is your head okay? How will you get there...?I shall achieve ascension...Not only that, through the use of Calabi-Yau space, it might be possible to construct a new universe...Then I shall explain it in detail.I will go to the Void.KI will go to the edge of the universe......to being one who exceeds even the gods, The Creator...!!EIt is a lawless space where only the paired production and annihilation of particles continues.I don't get it.
