Since the author of KKHTA mentions stuff like the gensokyo in our hearts, or how he cares about all the characters regardless what happens in the story, I think he's taking from Osanareimu/Reireimu and going with that KKHTA is an alternate universe to all the other Gensokyos.
But then again, that's just fan theorizing.
I could just imagine, they could be talking about what it's like to live on the moon.
