わたしのおとうさんは、ライオンです。
だから、ちょっとへんです。
「わかさゆえのあやまち」で、
こんなかおになっちゃった。
ふつうじゃなくてごめんな、
って、おとうさんはいっていたし
クラスのおとこのこからは
「おまえのおとうさんは、へんだよ」
なんていわれたりするけど
おとうさんはわたしに、ふしぎなまほうを
たくさんみせてくれるし
ライオンだってかっこいいし
だからわたしは、
そんな「へんなおとうさん」が
けっこうすきなんです。

My father's a lion.
It's kind of strange.
It was a "youthful mistake",
so I grew up with that face.
I'm sorry it isn't normal,
dad cries out.
A boy from class said "your dad's strange".
It's not a physical deformity to me, being a lion,
it's actually pretty cool, and he teaches me a lot of new,
strange magic.
So having such a "strange dad" isn't so bad, I actually like it.
