The speed is perfect, maybe your browser is broken...

For some reason Firefox runs all gifs annoyingly fast. I've upped a few that were fine in IE but after I upload them they go like double speed in Firefox.

this is actually the First that i have run into a speedy gif with FFx. perhaps its the transfer from the format it was original in?

The funny thing with Internet Explorer is that it has a limit on how fast gifs can run/animate (IIRC the minimium delay between frames is around 150ms), while firefox has no such limit. That's the reason why some gifs tend to run fast in FF.
