If life has thought me anything, it's only other people who can cheat without getting caught. Try it yourself and it usually goes south right away.
I thought The Prince was satire. Especially when you consider Machiavelli's other works, where he consistently argued for a republic (elected representatives) government instead of dictatorships.

Nevertheless, that doesn't make this quote any less fitting in this case though. These girls are at war (a board game war, but war nonetheless) and in war anything goes, so Ikazuchi did well at taking advantage in the situation as she did.
