This appears to reference a line spoken by Tobia Arronax in Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam, ならば海賊らしく頂いてゆく!!, "I'll make like a pirate and help myself!!" as he freed Bernadette Briett from a Mobile Armor remote-controlled by her father.
