Yeah... I remember in high school when there was a beetle crawling on the ground and everyone got up screaming to get away from it. So I stepped on it, and then I got a lot a grief about "not having an appreciation for natural life". -_-

But, if it was Hasushimo being pissed at me, I wouldn't hate it.

I remember a school mate doing the same at high school too, the thing is it was a Stenopelmatus and she got rewarded with a bitten finger.

At first it seemed dark. Then it's a cockroach.... how did she known it was a her....

Those things are pretty ferocious, especially the Indonesian Giant Cricket (our Asian relative to your Jerusalem cricket). I'm happy she only came away with a bitten finger.

Somehow I misread the comment, 79248cm/s said he/she stepped on it. What that school mate tried was to save it from being stepped on. So she tried to grab it with her bare hands and that was when she got a bitten finger. It's a fortune those things are not poisonous or even worse they could jump. They are nasty but not like Centipedes.
