Artist's commentary
The original gag is from the Obake no Q-Taro chapter "Hakase's going too" (Showa 38 (1963) Shonen Sunday). Hakase's grandfather's posture of joining his hands together in front of his chest was similar to that of Ran, so I drew it that way.
