She was banished from the moon, so I'd imagine that they could bond over being wronged by Lunarian authority.

They banished Kaguya for becoming unnaturally immortal.

Purity is kind of a big deal for them, which is why Clownpiece's presence on the moon as a being of pure life force was such a major threat that they had to evacuate; and why Youmu and Yuyuko were able to walk around the Lunar Capital without being given a second look from the residents, as if they had always been there.

Technically it's more accurate to say Kaguya is the Japanese version of Chang'e since that would have come first.
