Umi is the easiest for me, since it's the country I live in. (Germany)
    Honoka is american.
    Eri, russian. (Doh!)
    Nozomi, british.
    Kotori, japanese.
Hanayo south korean. (That hat is a dead giveaway)
Maki, italian. (Also easy cause "carabinieri")
Rin, is easy, too, especially for anyone who knows Louis de Funès. ;P

No idea which one Nico is though, my first guess was swedish, but they use a fairly easy
to identify emblem for their hats.

    *Stuff about police uniform.

My hunch was right - Nico is wearing the Belgian Federal Police uniform. (The emblem matches) Why Belgian? Beats me...

Darn, I checked Danish and Netherlandish police forces, but totally forgot about Belgium...

I've seen lots of American police related pictures with donuts. Is this just a stereotype or is it real?

    Yep.

Top row from left to right: Police of Russia, London Metropolitan Police, Gendarmerie Nationale, Federale Politie.

Bottom row in same sequence: Carabinieri, Landespolizei Deutschland (not sure from which state), New York City Police Department, South Korean National Police Agency and Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

Which Landespolizei agency in Germany uses a red badge with the eagle in the middle?

Upper left is MVD according to the shoulder patch rather than police per se.

Which state of Germany to be exact? Brandenburg?

Just googled 'mvd russia shoulder patch' and got exactly that same results.

As for the other departments, the hints were pretty easy.

    Umi's: The 'POLIZEI' words.

    Honoka's: The 8-pointed cap

Eri's: The 3-color flag on the patch and that unmistakable winter cap.

Nozomi's: The jacket with checkered stripes and obviously the 'bobby helmet' with that 'ER' 7-pointed and crown badge.

Kotori's: The '庁' word on that shoulder patch and the easy to spot badge.

Hanayo's: The hat badge and the writing above the 'POLICE' words on the shirt.

Maki's: Seen a Carabinieri uniform enough times on the web to know and that thing she's holding with the giveaway words. Is that a traffic paddle?

Rin's: Only one country uses that type of cap in the world...

As for Nico's, I know a few European countries that use garrison caps for police use, but a closer look at that hat emblem made me google 'belgian federal police uniform' and I got the answer.

Yeah, the color is a bit different. (Red eagle irl)
However that seems to be the one.

Mostly a stereotype, but based on the fact that for officers on night patrol, the only places open after midnight where they could grab a quick bite were doughnut shops.

Not American, but I read that back in the days, donut shops are one of the few shops that open all day long, and became polices' favourite spot to buy food and drinks.
