In Indonesia, blue ticket means that you acknowledged that you are guilty and are willing to pay the fine via bank transfer, while red ticket means that you pleads not guilty and willing to attend a trial set on 2 weeks after infraction date. In the moment of waiting for the trial, the officer will hold your driving license.

That's interesting. In my country, you have no choice but to pay the fine first and eventually protest later. But hey, it takes times for courts to decide anything in my country. Sometimes, you wait years for anything. Dunno how it is in Indonesia.

Here in my country, people will either totally ignore it since the law enforcers are very very lenient, or the government will occasionally offer discount for the fines so that people actually pay it, often resulting in hilarious scene where people show up with boxes of unpaid fines.
Though lately the government had enough and started arresting those who didn't pay or attend the court.

Here, traffic violations are usually resolved at most 1 month after incident.
But the point of red/blue ticket is to smoothly drive the guilty motorist to bribe the officer on location. If we asked for blue ticket, the officer "scare" us that the fine applied will be maximum (50 US$ or about half the monthly allowance of college student here), although it really is lower if you used to negotiate with them.
On the other side, going with the red ticket will leave us riding/driving with no license. If you get caught again, the officer might detain your vehicle papers.

Won't happen when it's the end of the month and you're down to your last penny.

I think this might be a reference to the Miko's Aka Manto spellcard from ULIL, considering that Byakuren's turbo granny legend is also in the same game. Really funny way to bring the 2 legends together props to the artist for thinking of this!

Granny, you're not wearing your helmet, huh?
Now, would you like the red ticket or the blue ticket? In Indonesia, blue ticket means that you plead guilty and are willing to pay the fine via bank transfer, while red ticket means you plead not guilty and are willing to attend a trial set 2 weeks after the infraction date, during which the officer will hold your license.
